Welcome to Fleetr, Kenya's leading fleet management and GPS tracking platform. By using our services, you agree to these terms and conditions.

1. About Our Services

Fleetr provides comprehensive fleet management solutions including:

  • Real-time GPS vehicle tracking
  • Fleet monitoring and analytics dashboards
  • Device management and installation services
  • Route optimization and journey analytics
  • Driver behavior monitoring and alerts
  • Maintenance scheduling and fleet reports
  • AI-powered customer support via WhatsApp (Otto)

Our services are designed to help Kenyan businesses optimize their fleet operations, reduce costs, and improve safety standards.

2. Account Registration & Eligibility

To use Fleetr, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old or represent a legal business entity
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Have legal authority to bind your organization to these terms
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Maintain the security and confidentiality of your account credentials

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account and must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

3. Data Privacy & Security

We take data protection seriously and comply with Kenya's Data Protection Act:

  • Vehicle location data is encrypted and securely transmitted
  • Access to tracking data is restricted to authorized account users
  • We implement industry-standard security measures
  • Data is stored on secure servers with regular backups
  • You retain ownership of your fleet and tracking data

4. Device Installation & Hardware

For GPS tracking devices:

  • Professional installation is recommended for optimal performance
  • Devices must be installed in accordance with manufacturer specifications
  • You are responsible for device maintenance and care
  • Warranty terms vary by device manufacturer
  • Unauthorized tampering may void warranty and service agreements

We provide installation services across major Kenyan cities including Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu, and Nakuru.

5. Billing & Payment Terms

Payment terms for Fleetr services:

  • Monthly subscription fees are billed in advance
  • Device purchases require full payment before delivery
  • Installation fees are due upon completion of service
  • Late payments may result in service suspension
  • Refunds are subject to our refund policy
  • Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice

We accept payments via M-Pesa, bank transfer, and major credit cards.

6. Prohibited Uses

You may not use Fleetr for:

  • Tracking individuals without their consent
  • Any illegal or unauthorized surveillance activities
  • Interfering with our platform or other users' accounts
  • Reverse engineering or attempting to access our source code
  • Sharing account credentials with unauthorized parties
  • Using our services to violate any applicable laws

Violation of these terms may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

We provide comprehensive support for our Kenyan customers:

  • 24/7 technical support via phone and email
  • Online documentation and user guides
  • Regular platform updates and improvements
  • 99.5% uptime service level agreement
  • Local support teams in major Kenyan cities

8. AI-Assisted Support (Otto)

Otto is Fleetr's AI-powered support assistant, available 24/7 via WhatsApp. Otto uses large language model (LLM) technology to understand your questions and help you manage your fleet.

Capabilities:

  • Answers fleet tracking, device, and account questions instantly
  • Looks up vehicle locations, device status, and account details
  • Creates and tracks support tickets on your behalf
  • Provides contextual help based on your conversation history
  • Escalates complex issues to human agents

AI Processing Terms:

  • Otto uses LLM technology to understand and respond to your messages
  • Messages and fleet data are processed via temporary 5-minute access tokens
  • Conversations are logged in accordance with our Privacy Policy
  • You may request a human agent at any time by asking in the chat

Limitations:

  • Otto cannot make binding account decisions such as billing changes, contract modifications, or account termination
  • Responses are assistive in nature and do not constitute legal or professional advice
  • Accuracy depends on data quality and system availability
  • Recommendations should be independently verified for critical decisions

Human Oversight:

  • All support tickets created by Otto are reviewed by human agents
  • Account changes require human approval before taking effect
  • Fleetr maintains oversight of Otto's operations at all times

Section 35 — Automated Decision-Making

In compliance with Section 35 of Kenya's Data Protection Act 2019, you have the right to not be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing. Otto assists with support queries but does not make binding decisions about your account. You may opt out of AI-assisted support at any time by contacting support@loopy.co.ke.

9. Limitation of Liability

Fleetr's liability is limited as follows:

  • We provide GPS tracking services on an "as-is" basis
  • Tracking accuracy depends on GPS signal strength and network coverage
  • We are not liable for delays in data transmission
  • Maximum liability is limited to the fees paid in the preceding 12 months
  • We are not responsible for decisions made based on tracking data

This limitation applies to the fullest extent permitted by Kenyan law.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement:

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts for terms violations
  • 30 days written notice is required for termination without cause
  • Upon termination, you retain access to data export for 90 days
  • Prepaid fees are non-refundable except as required by law

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya:

  • All disputes will be resolvedn courts
  • We comply with the Kenya Data Protection Act 2019
  • Terms are subject to applicable consumer protection laws
  • Any invalid provisions do not affect the remaining terms
